Grandpa Horst passed away this morning. Mom called me this morning and told me. He had been lying in bed all week and was barely responsive, just moaning. Now he has been released from his suffering.

Last Saturday we went to Hanover to buy an acoustic bass guitar as our joint Christmas present. We had already discovered one there during our summer vacation, and its sound immediately appealed to us. It is an Ibanez AEGB30E-NTG with integrated pick up and tuner.

Afterwards, we went to the Christmas market and walked through Hanover's city center to get something to eat and look for more presents for the family.
